September Cooking Club

We start our  new year with new delicious recipes .We make  Baklava , Bean Salad (Piyaz) and Pastry with feta cheese (Borek) today ....

 



We had very friendly guest and we had very good time with delicous food .

Baklava



1 package filo dough
1/5 cup chopped walnut
1/2  stick butter
½ cup oil

Syrup
2 cup sugar
2 cup water 

For syrup add sugar and water on the pan , boil it for 10 -15 min .Let it cool down .
Preheat the oven 350 F,  then lay out one package filo dough bottom  of the pyrex then add the finely chopped walnut spread smoothly then lay out other piece of filo dough for top .Cut it in small piece very finely .Spread the butter in each piece .Bake it in the oven for 35 - 40 min. it must be golden color . After Baklava cooked let it cool down for 10- 15 min . After then add the syrup .For  best result serve the Baklava 3-4 hour after baked .

                                                                                                             







Pastry with feta cheese (Borek )

Egg roll or Spring roll ,
Feta cheese , 
Parsley  
For frying 
Corn oil  



Make small piece with feta cheese then cut the parsley and mix them up . Put a little cheese at the corner of egg roll then fold three side then roll it , put a little water at the end of egg roll to stick .Fry in the hot oil or bake them in the oven .































Bean Salad ( Piyaz )

 3- 6 can small beans 
1 green pepper  
1 red pepper 
2-3 tomatoes
2 lemons
2 onions 
parsley 
Salt , olive oil .

Cut all the ingredients in a small piece add them all together,  put salt and oil  mix them finely and serve .
